"My Special Cat"

This is a final follow up to my original posting of "My Cat is Special" Project. It's been finished now for about two weeks, I had a hard time picking just the right frame and matt for it, plus all this OT I've been working has made it almost impossible to finish my little project.

Something that should have taken just one week to do, took so much longer... sorry...

BUT! HERE IT IS!!! The final project!!

So, Happy Belated Birthday... I hope you can find a "Special" spot for it.

A Cat's Prayer

Now I lay me down to sleep,

The king-size bed is soft and deep...

I sleep right in the center groove

My human can hardly move!

I've trapped her legs, she's tucked in tight

And here is where I pass the night

No one disturbs me or dares intrude

Till morning comes and "I want food!"

I sneak up slowly to begin

My nibbles on my humans chin.

She wakes up quickly, I have sharp teeth -

And my claws I will unsheathe

For the morning's here and it's time to play

I always seem to get my way.

So thank you Lord for giving me

This human person that I see.

The one who hugs me and holds me tight

And sacrifices her bed at night.

Wednesday and already my day is spinning out of control...

I actually got to go home early yesterday, not actually home, but to take care of personal things. Things that I can never take care of on a normal day in my corner of the world. I was able to leave work about 2:30 pm, go to the bank and run some other errands before close of the day for most businesses. I even got to meet up with an old girlfriend that I hadn't seen in over a year.

I even got in bed by 8:30 pm...

This morning started off at 5:20, shower, dress or atleast attempt to get dressed. I was experiencing pretty bad dizzy spells, (NO!! I'M NOT PREGNANT!! That has been the question of the day for me here at work... I thought I would clear that up first hand! PC, no worries... lol...) I managed to make it to work, dizzy spells and all, and they still continue. I'm here, but not worth much to be honest... I'm told I "look" like I'm not right! I think we all knew that... ;)

Upon trying to get my day going, this is where and how it started off at my desk... care to take "a shot" as to what this is?

There were a few comments directed in a particular direction from fellow co-workers... How something "so innocent" can be taken down other roads. The following was sent to me via email here at work so I'll leave the rest to you... I even had a wonderful co-worker offer her services to clean off my monitor!! I feel special now!!! hehe
