As I sit here in tears, I ask for nothing but patience and understanding, mostly from my beloved daughter...
I'm sure many of you know how much my children mean to me... and right now, I'm having to accept the fact that my baby daughter... (ok, so you're not a baby anymore, but you will ALWAYS be the baby of the family who is soon to be 21!) is moving away again to Salt Lake City, Utah on March 27th.
She has come a long way from this picture...

3 Months Old
I blogged about her back on
June 25, 2007, when we had some difficulties communicating. Enough time and prayers brought us back together. Thank you Lord! Now, she's moving away again. Even though she has proven to be able to take good care of herself and her responsibilities, it's still very hard to accept her moving away, just as it was when her oldest brother moved away.
My heart aches for them, I lift them all in prayer every single morning, I know she is in good hands, God always has her safe and that is what keeps me going without worrying so much.
Through the years, I've seen her grow to be a beautiful and wonderful woman! I'm very blessed that God has given you to me, to help care for and nurture you. I know I haven't always exemplified all the qualities of "Mother of the Year", but there was no instruction booklet that came with you at birth. We do what is best in our minds, we follow the examples that were set by our parents (it's all we know) and there are times when we even struggle NOT to raise you like our parents did, (Keep in mind "Grandma"... lol). At this point I have to stop and say, "I thank You, Lord, for entrusting me with this HUGE job of raising my children."
*Unfortunately the slideshow is "failing to load" so click on "View All Images" to view her slideshow and watch her transform to a beautiful grown up daughter.
The heart of a mother is a deep abyss at the bottom of which you will always find forgiveness.
There is no love, like a mother's love,
no stronger bond on earth...
like the precious bond that comes from God,
to a mother, when she gives birth.
A mother's love is forever strong,
never changing for all time...
and when her children need her most,
a mother's love will shine.
God bless these special mothers,
God bless them every one...
for all the tears and heartache,
and for the special work they've done.
When her days on earth are over,
a mother's love lives on...
through many generations,
with God's blessings on each one.
Be thankful for our mothers,
for they love with a higher love...
from the power God has given,
and the strength from up above.
A Mother's love is a lifelong commitment to selflessness.
