Random Thoughts

Well, another year upon us, yes... I know, where have I been? We are mid way through the first month of 2008!

Well, things have been very busy around the Cat house! Between family, careers, and personal goals, wishes and dreams, well... I've been trying to get myself a bit more organized. That is probably the biggest goal that I attempt to change for the better every "new" year. To add to that, I'm trying to live healthier, stay better in touch with my children, my family back home and throughout the two states I have family in.

Christmas has come and gone... I had vowed to leave my Christmas tree up until my first born came home. Unfortunately he has not been able to do just that. His plans and hopes are now to be able to come home mid Feb. I pray that it all comes through and that his health improves.

*Get well soon, take care of yourself! I Love You TREMENDOUSLY! Your XMas presents are still waiting under the tree...

Now, I prepare for your bday... 2/08! You have so much to live for! You have the world in front of you! You conquered all the negativity of an illness when you were just a baby! You are meant for big things, you might not see it now or are having to work hard for it, but it will be well worth it at the end!

Unfortunately, I am having to bring down the Christmas tree and organize the house with all the extra furnishings we just acquired. What should be our office area, is still waiting to be finished. I started painting it a few months back and still can't finish it. My free time is erratic and not very organized. I know it will get done... I'm determined.

My prayers have increased and have become more specific for my children's happiness, health, mental well being and peace within their hearts. Two of my children have had a bit of a rocky start with 2008, either health wise or personally. I continue to pray to St. Jude and to God for His will to be done. Only He knows where they should be in their lives, and I pray that my children may hear His words and follow Him with all the faith that they have been brought up to have.

I had originally started a different blog back on Dec. 22ND, titled "Another Year, Come and Gone", but I left it to be finished another time. Maybe I can go back to it and bring it around as this month comes to an end, giving me some more time to reflect on where I've been and where I'm going in my life. We will just have to wait and see. I hope to blog more than what I have here recently, it all depends on how well I get a handle on my time. I definitely miss my Maxine Mondays!
