Update on Sports Pride or Illegal Alien Pride...

I have an update to my previous posting, Sports Pride or Illegal Alien Pride...

I was looking for some enlightenment if this was a sports pride action and low and behold, it is/was... this particular co-worker (as brave as she is...with all the current events going on with the illegal immigration problems going on) was showing her pride for Mexico's team.

*The funny thing here is, even though I was on a quest to get some imput/clarification/thoughts (whatever you want to call it) on her actions being due to sports pride or "Illegal Alien Pride", I was referred to showing "racism". Me, Sugar Cat... racist... Talk about "Enlightenment"! Someone was quick to refer to my blog as "racist" but didn't offer any information or enlightenment in to the sport of Futbol. Go figure... I think I hit a nerve in this individual... Oh well, I'm sure no-one lost any sleep over it.

So here is the information that I was given at breakfast by a fellow "Mexican" co-worker, a nice one at that too, (cough - cough) and get more information on the whole event.

She was showing her support for the 2007 Copa de las Americas.
