New Look Part II

So as you all know, I was bragging about a new look in my previous post. Well, I am here to add the real reason to the new look.

Since I obtained my Ladies Smith back in December of 2006, The Way to THIS Woman's Heart... it has been difficult for me to adjust to the recoil of the wooden grip.

It has done a good number on my hand so much that the muscles around my thumb would swell up pretty bad, in fact, my hand still hurts from this Saturdays Range visit.

All I can say is that all the muscles listed by the thumb were affected. Every range visit, I insisted on working more with the Ladies Smith because, in my mind, I figured that if I got more range practice with it, that the impact of the grip would improve. Here we are six months down the road and the impact has not improved.

So, even though the look is "Slick" and "Bad Ass", I'm looking for a better feel.
