HUG-A-BEAR Drive

With this collection being advertised throughout Houston, I felt the need to participate in this very worthwhile cause. The deadline has come and gone, but I met the deadline just in time... I can only hope that my contribution brings great comfort to the child it is given to.

The bear you see here, was hugged dearly by myself and by Porta's Cat daughter as she walked in to the local YMCA to donate the bear. So I know that there is alot of love in that bear as it is waiting to be handed out to a very well deserving child in the Houston area.

This is the sixth year local Christian radio station KSBJ-89.3 has collected stuffed animals for a very worthwhile cause. The Hug-a-Bear drive provides cuddly stuffed animals for HPD officers to give to children faced with a frightening situation, whether it be a car accident, domestic violence, whatever.
