Busy morning... human interest is on mind
I took the day off as I have quite a few things on my own "honey do list" to get things done today. So in thinking of all that I have to do in my day, the only thing on my mind is human interest, caring for one another, stopping to help others in the midst of our busy days... with that being said, I'll leave you all with the following human interest story that just tugged at my heart strings hard. Please note that one of the pictures is heart wrenching and can really tug at your heart strings...
There seems to be so many people in our lives that are so willing to give a helping hand, I have to say that these kind of people is what I live my life to be like!!!
As I walked down the busy sidewalk, knowing I was late for an important interview, my eye fell upon one of those unfortunate, homeless vagabonds that are found in every city these days. Wearing what can only be describes as rags, carrying every worldly possession in two plastic bags; my heart was touched by this person’s condition. Some people turned to stare. Others quickly looked away as if the sight would somehow contaminate them. Recalling some long ago Sunday school admonition to "care for the sick, feed the hungry and clothe the naked," I was moved by some powerful inner urge to reach out to this unfortunate person.
Yes, where some people saw only rags, I saw a hidden beauty.
A small voice inside my head called out,
"Reach out,
reach out!"
So I did..........
I get out of the hospital in about 3 months. It would be nice to get a card or maybe a visitor.

~~~ On a side note:
Ok, we've had our laugh, giggle and even a human interest story for the day, now it's time to get to work on our honey do's and work load!!!
