Days gone by

It feels like I've lost some days and pieces of my life these last few months.

I have not had much of a chance to visit and read my favorite blogs, nor even explore new ones, as work has had me traveling throughout the school district assisting at all schools to set up new computers and laptops, update and upgrade all district computers, admin, teaching staff, labs and student classroom computers. It's been a whirl wind of nothing but technology. I'm breathing, eating, sleeping and living nothing but technology at this time.

I've even fallen way from my passion of crafting my candles and other passions to unwind. Things at home have also fallen down to the bottom of my to-do list. Thank God for having PC in my life... he's been such a blessing of a distraction on week-ends when not concentrating on work. I'm thankful for him being in my life...
I've also been able to come home to the other man in my life...!!

Who can forget good ole' Useless??? He is no longer that feral cat he was once reported to be! He has made sure that nothing is ordinary for "momma" when she comes home at the end of a long hard day!! He's made sure to have ready for me a full kitty litter box! His very own present to me, to let me know I'm missed. I've also been reminded that he eats, unlike me these days, because if he's not fed, he leaves his food bowl, turned upside down in the kitchen or dining area where I can see it, with trails of remnants of food leading from the dining/kitchen area to my bedroom. Oh yea! And my gorgeous Day Lillies that my son gave me, turned over on the table! And insists on getting attention by plopping himself on his back, right in front of me as I am walking around the apartment, almost tripping momma over him!

Things are slowing down a bit these days now that school is back in session and all my teaching staff and administration are up to par, now the fun begins with student computers.

I promise to make more time on week-ends to catch up with my reading. I've been enrolled in an on-line training program for Microsoft Office Excel... just one more thing to add to the plate, but atleast I have that plate.
