Childhood home damaged in flood
The emotions are hitting hard at this moment as I write this out... I don't have words, just sick to my stomach!
I'm grateful and thankful to God that my mom wasn't in that house, material things, that's what was lost, the memories will live forever!!
The following is an interview that KVIA had with my sister and my brother, more can be read here: Interview
Pat and Eddie Medina said they fear that if it rains again the water will plow through the home yet again.
"It went through the rock wall. We lost everything," Eddie said.
Storm 2006 Friday Aug 4 Video - This video shows the water rushing in to the yard through the brick wall that was torn down by the force of the water. KVIA.com has been following close in that general area.

Where you see the water rushing, it broke the rock fence that protected the backyard and back door to the house. Four to five feet of water was found to take over the house.
Everything is gone!
God, I only ask that you bless and look over my family as they try to clean up the house, give them strength as they clean through and throw the memories of our childhood to the curb to never see again. Give them good memories and smiles as they sift through every piece of furnishing, articles of clothing, nick-nacks and pictures. God, I ask that you bless every single family in that area that has lost just as much and possibly more or even less! Each family has their own loss and it all is a loss, it can't equal to anyone else's, but it is theirs! Bless them so they feel your comforting arms around them at their time of need.
My undieing love to my family back home! I'm freaking' torn right now!
