I awoke this morning with
thoughts of you
Smiling inwardly at the things
we do
Feeling thankful for all
we share
Missing you deeply, wishing
you were here
I couldn't help but ask within
my soul
What have I done to deserve
such a love?
How was I chosen for a bond
such as this?
A warm, tender love with a magnificent
kiss
A love who enthralls me the way
none ever has done
A love with whom I am totally one
A love who unleashed so many feelings
within me
with very little effort
set me totally free
A love who took me to heights
I'd not known
A love who I call my very own
A love who can console me when
my world falls apart
and mend every piece of a torn
apart heart
A love whose smile brings joy to my life
Whose melodious voice sends
chills up my spine
A love whose arms make me feel
so secure
take away all tensions and
calm every fear
A love who's stuck by me through
thick and thin
and one I will love forever
