"You are going to need to get your boy nutted soon. That will help settle him down."

"Lighten him of his nuts. It will make a world of difference."

You are probably asking yourself and wondering, "What The Hell?" "Porta's Cat finally went too far!!!" "Oh Poor Guy!"

The above "quoted" comments were sent to me this morning, and it just seemed so fitting that I share the conversation.

No people, I'm not Neutering Porta's Cat after yesterdays blog!!

Mr. Porta's Cat - a.k.a - Azul - El Loco, is safe from being neutered!

But it leaves me to wonder if the same operation would help settle a man down.... hmmmm.... the same could be said about the woman though. The surgery would be the answer to all the adultery that goes on in relationships.

Ok, so...here's the scoop; If you have kept up with Porta Cat's blog, he had a stray cat that was coming around the office and the cat adopted Mr. Porta's Cat. We learned that he was "Useless" the cat. Well, Useless took PC in and started taking care of him through out the day, stopping in and making sure he was working out, amusing him with his little antics, giving PC a reason to go to the office day in and day out. You know, just like a typical pet... They keep us in line.

Well, Useless was pretty independent until he met up with Porta's Cat. PC finally became concerned about a week ago, that Useless would not make it out in the streets, between finding a bb from a BB pistol or rifle and Useless becoming very friendly. Well, I took Useless in this last Sunday was his transition from being a stray or a feral cat (Definition of stray and feral coming soon) to a domesticated cat.

I have not been able to get to sleep until past midnight the last two nights. Monday night, upon trying to get ready for bed, I noticed Useless decided to play hide and seek with me. about 10:30. It took me one hour before I finally found him, snuggled, way back under my bed, behind the Christmas Tree. I had to chase him out with the bat (no people, I didn't swing the bat at him, I just couldn't reach him, so hence something long to nudge him out). If you read the comments reported on PC's blog, Useless also had a bit of a tissy fit in the bathroom, frantically running and jumping about in the bathroom and throwing candle holders with his frantic state. I was finally able to calm him down and get him settled in for the night.

Last night, well, last night was a night to remember! He was antsy... I think he misses his #1 caretaker, anyway... I had to shut him in the bathroom with the litter box, I heard him, bored in there all night. This am, (at 4:45 am) I was awakened by a loud rustling of the shower curtain. I awoke to Useless hanging, by the tip of his claws, to the top of the shower curtain!! Looking at me like "OH SHIT!!!! CAUGHT IN THE ACT!!!" Although it was a sight for sore eyes, mine were not to focus at that hour! I can laugh now, but not at that hour! As I approached to rescue him, he jumped down and ran out of the bathroom... nestled himself on the window sill, allowed me to pet him and send me off to work as he stared at me from the window, probably thinking "MMHHMMM, you go on to work, I'll find Merlo and have a nice (slurp) talk with him!!!" (Merlo being my beta fish) .

So, hence the comments sent to me, via email, by Porta's Cat and the way I look today.....

This is me, after my rough night with Useless!!!
The boy is getting CUT!!!

More later.... Some enlightening information on the difference between stray cats and feral cats.
Please disregard any misspelling or grammar errors; I haven't had my full cup of coffee this am!!!
