What do you get when you combine an elevator, a Daisy Red Ryder and a Chicken Enchilada Dinner?
You get a Mexpsychan Sugar Cat "stuck" in an elevator on her birthday, planning for an Easter Smorgasbord...
Well, I’ve had quite a week-end needless to say! Aside from turning one year older and hopefully one year wiser (God, I had a good sense of humor in the elevator, please help me with the enlightenment of learning from all my past mistakes and experiences).
Aside from experiencing God’s sense of humor in the elevator and being paraded in a diaper in front of clientele at Joe’s Crab Shack in Kingwood, sucking my thumb, I have to say I had a freakin’ blast of a week-end! The enlightenment of what it would be like for me in 30 years, wearing some “DEPENDS” was just another way to show my sense of humor to life and its curve balls! Jay has a first hand knowledge of what he will have to prepare for in his upcoming future with me! lol…
Of course you all know by now, or most of you that is, that I was blessed with a Daisy Red Ryder. I felt like it was Christmas…
I reverted to the movie Christmas Story.
Ralphie: I want an official Red Ryder, carbine action, two-hundred shot range model air rifle! Mrs. Parker: No, you'll shoot your eye out.
And those last famous words were what PC had to say to me upon opening the gift! LOL… I think I’m fairing pretty well… especially shooting several feet at a beer can! I have my moments, but definitely looking at where now we might have to consider getting one more person her own “little” Daisy air rifle.
Easter Sunday, my cooking went off really well, or so I’ve been told. At least I think it went well… No-one keeled over after taking several bites and going back for seconds! That’s a positive thing, right? lol...
The Cat family is a hoot! Sweet as ever, but they do keep one on their toes and you have to know how to keep coming back for more. I feel like a misplaced child that has found her long lost family! Then again, my own family is something else! I’m not sure if PC would live through meeting mine! We’ll just have to wait and see now won’t we? Hmmmmm… As for pictures, you can visit The Cathouse and view the few that have been posted there.
You all have a wonderful week!
