Spring Break, Rodeo and Gun Range
Well, Spring Break will be officially here for me as of 4:01 pm today. It will be kicked off with co-workers and a special man at Seabrook Beach Club today. I don’t have a big vacation planned, but my week will entail spending it doing much of nothing but enjoying life. Maybe sit on the porch and play with Miss Bear, have some coffee and get more familiar with my G-19. I’ll have some time to blog here and there and get a better chance to read through so many interesting blogs out there. I am looking forward to my whole week, starting tonight.
My week-end will be a busy one between kicking off Spring Break, the Rodeo and a visit to the Gun Range… so you won’t hear much of me all week-end.
I was surprised with tickets to go see Lee Ann Womack. That will be my Saturday; I was able to get PC to visit Cavender’s to purchase a blouse to wear for the Rodeo. I had a particular blouse planned for the event, but turned out a more relaxed and comfortable blouse would be needed. He was sweet enough to take me to look for a blouse, we’ve gone shopping before, to good ole’ Wal-Mart, but this was a first of a shopping trip not knowing what I wanted. Didn’t want to give him a bad impression of what my shopping trips are like, you know being a woman and all. LOL… Anyway, I will have to report on the performance of Lee Ann Womack next week and the whole experience of the Rodeo…(If I remember correctly, I just have to make sure there is plenty of beer for PC so that he can get through the country music).
I’m excited about the trip to the range that is planned for me! I’m already getting pretty good at dropping the magazine and unloading, triple checking for unload, disassembling the pistol, re-assembling the pistol, reloading and topping off the pistol. I think PC can vouch for me after last night. I’m not little Ms. Speedy where I’m trying to accomplish a particular speed, but I’m comfortable with my actions in how I am handling the Glock.
Well, it’s off to do some work, see you all on the flip side!
