Great Photography of Life Itself
I love life for all that it is! Some pictures came across my way this morning and as much as I'd love to share all the pictures, they will have to be done a few at a time. Life can be so consuming with all the craziness that is going on around us at this moment, but if we take the time to stop and look around...there is so much beauty to it too!
My son lost a close co-worker this week, although he knew it was coming, it still took the best of him to really realize this man would not be coming back to work. They wouldn't be sharing their morning conversations or their mid day chats, the few glimpses of "How are you today?"
I've had several friends lose people close to them, our Superintendent just lost her father two days ago, another internet acquaintenance lost a dear co-worker and just learned is losing another dear friend that hasn't been given much time on this earth as well and yet another internet acquaintenance that just learned she doesn't have long to live...our paths were brought together for a reason, and all I can think is that it's helping me realize, I have so much to be thankful for. My day to day rantings is so trivial to the going ons of all these other people. My prayers and thoughts are with all these friends and their families.
All I can say is take a moment, breathe in the beauty of life and all the goodness it does have to offer.
I'm in a solemn place today, I sort of have been for a few days...so much death, sorrow, sickness, anger and hatred is being felt these days. I'm choosing to stop and take in the beauty! My peaceful place is in the corners of my mind... Flatonia... PC, you know that image. It's peaceful there.
