First Tattoos and Daughters
My how they grow up fast, daughters that is!
I remember the day that she was born, how can any mother forget the special moments when she bears a child and surrenders her heart to that tiny little being?
These were my words to her as she was growing up...
There's a special relationship between mothers and daughters. They can be like identical twins yet completely different. When I was a young girl I watched my mother and adopted the bits and pieces of her that fit. You've done the same with me. I see it in so many ways. But don't think I'm hoping for a carbon copy. You have your own wonderful talents. It's your time now...seize the day!
This is mother and daughter then...

This is my beautiful Daughter now...

and this is her first tattoo...

I didn't get to experience the first tatto with her, but we've been able to share many other important things in her life and I know that there will be many more times to share in the coming years.
I remember my first tattoo, it was soon after my divorce... a butterfly to symbolize the freedom that I was entering. My second tattoo...well, let's just call it a moment, I think we all eventually have one of those...now I have to go back to get it covered up. Tattoos say stories, atleast I've always thought so. There's a story behind my two (or three if you listen to the story to the second one). Needless to say, I'm getting ready for a fourth tattoo, (or will it be considered my second since it will be covering my second (or was that the second and third)? DAMN!
Tattoos, they can be addicting, but when obtained in good taste, they can be sexy as hell!
My eternal love to you my lovely daughter!!! All my love...
