Pillow Fights

You have got to love a good pillow fight! Especially if the people involved are in good humor about it and keep the good humor even after being “pelted” quite a few times and it turns out to be one sided! Nothing better than a good sensual pillow fight… lol… did I say sensual? Here is a description of a pillow fight, and keep in mind that there were no “young” children around at the time! Anyone up for another one? You gotta love me!!!

A pillow fight is a common game mostly played by young children in which they attack each other with pillows. Many times pillow fights occur during children's sleepovers. Since pillows are soft, injury rarely occurs. The heft of a pillow can still knock a young person off balance, especially on a soft surface such as a bed, which is a common venue. In earlier eras pillows would often break, shedding feathers throughout a room. Modern pillows tend to be stronger and filled with a solid block of artificial filling, so this no longer occurs.

The 1978 film Animal House, starring John Belushi, features a pillow fight in one scene.
