Lord hold our troops in your loving hands

I grew up with my father and all my brothers in my family serving our country. I had hoped to follow the honor soon after High School, got as far as signing up and right before I went in for my physical, I learned that I was pregnant with my oldest... God had other plans for me.
I have always held a HIGH regard for all who have served and serve our country to this day, all branches of service. I grew up in El Paso, TX and was exposed to service men/women all my life...I hold such respect for all men and women who put their lives in front of their own to protect us and defend our freedom... With that being said, I leave this prayer that made its way to me today in an email! My love to my father and brothers and all who serve and have served and lost their lives doing so....

"Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
When you read this, please stop for a moment and say a prayer for our troops around the world. Of all the gifts you could give a US Soldier, Sailor, Airman, or Marine deployed in harm's way, prayer is the very best!!!
