FAMILY...

I'm going home in one week...to see my neice get married (it will be a complete family reunion with the brothers and sisters). It will be nice, I've always made fun of my family...in a teasing sort of way. Dad is not with us, but he sees us from above and knows that we are always thinking of eachother and he knows in his heart that we'll all be with him one day.

I moved to Houston in 1983 and have made Houston my home. I wouldn't have it any other way! God had a plan for me and God "Bless(ed) This Broken Road" of mine. I'm happy where I am in my life, but I will never forget my roots!
There is so much that can be said for a family, yours, mine... none are the same.

"Dysfunctional" is what I call us, but all in all, this is what I have to say:

My family is my family, and I am so glad that they are mine. Love will keep us together through our lives. We will fight. We will argue. We will disagree. But the one thing I will always be aware of is we will always want the best for us each.
No matter what I don't have. No matter what I don't get. I have a gift that is no cost to anyone who enters my heart.Thank you, my family, for your special charm.
