So, I haven't blogged like I had hoped to and upon finally getting around to read some blogs, I noticed that Ms.
TNChick had picked Emotion(s) for today's theme. I'm extremely late on this post, but I couldn't resist, this helped me get in to the mood immediately of blogging again, at least for the week-end.
When I hear the word and ponder what it means to me, a few things come to mind... in fact three beautiful children come to mind. I'll leave the rest to the pictures.... and a few captions under each to fulfill the theme.
PROUD mother of three, each child bringing DELIGHT in to my life and each has the qualities of the other, one stronger than the other, but all very LOVING, CARING, and a JOY, that bring much HAPPINESS.

CONCERN, SADNESS and FEAR when told by doctors that your child will never walk, talk or be able to feed himself, that he would be a vegetable for the rest of his life. The chubbines in him was a result of the hormone shots given to him daily.
(UPDATED: Diagnose: Idiopathic
West Syndrome - otherwise known as infantile spasms, is an uncommon to rare and serious form of epilepsy in infants. In my son's case a combination of the following;
Nodding attacks: Convulsions of the throat and neck flexor muscles, during which the chin is fitfully jerked towards the breast or the head is drawn inward.
Salaam or jackknife attacks: a flexor spasm with rapid bending of the head and torso forward and simultaneous raising and bending of the arms while partially drawing the hands together in front of the chest and/or flailing. If one imagined this act in slow motion, it would appear similar to the oriental ceremonial greeting (Salaam), from which this type of attack derives its name.
Therapy:
ACTH -Use primarily in United States Side effects are: Weight gain, especially in the trunk and face, hypertension, metabolic abnormalities, severe irritability, osteoporosis, sepsis, and congestive heart failure.
*I'll never forget the scream that came with each attack from my precious first born.)

PRAISE, THANKFULNESS and PRIDE when he beats all odds that doctors had foretold and turns out to be a very intelligent, smart and healthy son.

BLESSED and JOY for a second wonderful and healthy son.

More PRIDE knowing that he is a good man, with a big heart and so much LOVE to give. To know that he strives to live a good life.

It's obvious that she was not HAPPY... but a beautiful little girl!!
In fairness to her, here is a picture of her HAPPY. Thinking "see me... I got up here all by myself". Mommy filled with WORRY and still ANGER because she knew that her action was a big no-no... but AMUSED with her own little PRIDE of what she accomplished, so much she was singing...
PRIDE (again), my daughter reaching a mile marker in her life on the same day she turned 18 and graduating Top 10 in her class and growing up to be a very independent woman! Full of LOVE and COMPASSION for all those around her.
Again, I don't short change either child, as they all hold the same qualities that the other is mentioned for... I'm very blessed.
All three children, living and making it out on their own, facing their own struggles and accomplishments that life brings on.
I LOVE you all tremendously and am an extremely PROUD mother!
My loving son, Joey... visiting for the week-end.
My loving daughter, Abby, her last night in Houston before her big move to Utah and my loving son, Jason, spending his evening with us, in spite of not feeling well.
