I am who I am... just me. I'm not just a woman, a daughter, a sister, a mother, a friend, or a computer technician. There's more to me than meets the eye. Keep us posted as to each step of the process, and remember to avoid posting a pic of your license no matter how proud you are of it.
After all, there are plenty of weirdos on the Internet. I should know since I'm just about the only one who always shows up for the weekly meetings.

Thank you James, will keep you posted, and the license will never be posted. I guess in reality, the mugshot above shouldn't even be up there either, but I couldn't stop laughing at the similarity of the picture(s) from Sages blog.
And you are right, there are plenty of weirdos out there... I've seen and heard enough day to day.

You'll do fine...from what I observed while taking mine, you or anyone can qualify if you can hit the side of a barn!
Half the shot were from less than combat range (9 yards) and I can spit that far!
It does feel good to get the permit though, just remember to carry. I have only really carried mine twice in 2 years. Of course, you aren't supposed to take guns where liquor is served, so, I guess that's where I go most often.
